Release Notes 12.1.361
13 July 2026
A release with some real weight to it. Several headline features land together, from friendlier AI chats to sharper eyes on your cameras and content, alongside enhancements that keep your work in clear view and the kind of quiet fixes that smooth out everyday rough edges.
What's New
-
Chat Sharing: Your AI chats no longer have to be a solo act. Share any conversation with a link the rest of your portal can open, or invite specific people and groups by email. Choose how much access each person gets: a Viewer reads along, while a Collaborator can join the conversation directly or branch off into their own private copy that leaves your original untouched. -
Agentic Audit Logging: Creating, changing, or deleting an agent, a graph, or a chat session used to happen off the books. Now every one of those actions lands in the Audit Log and Chain of Custody, stamped with who did it and when.
-
Diagrams in the Chat: Sometimes a picture beats a paragraph. When a flow, hierarchy, or process is clearest as a visual, the agent now draws it right in the chat instead of describing it in text. Zoom, pan, peek at the underlying code, and download it as a PNG or SVG.
-
Steadier Live Surveillance: Live surveillance now keeps an eye on its own health behind the scenes, so slowdowns and hiccups get caught early instead of catching you off guard. You don't have to do a thing; your feeds just run a little more dependably.
Enhancements
-
Search just got a lot lighter on its feet. It powers nearly everything you do in VIDIZMO, from browsing and listings to the search bar and favorites, and now returns the same results with far less waiting, most of all on large libraries.
-
The way your AI agents search your content library is smarter now. They can now page through large result sets, look inside and list folders, and break your library down by format, author, and attributes to find the right content faster. Learn more: Search Mashup tool
-
Your redaction masking style, opaque, blur, or pixelate, now applies everywhere: across every visual insight type, including OCR and PII, and on documents too.
-
The whole platform now runs on .NET 10, the latest long-term-support release. That keeps VIDIZMO on a secure, fully supported foundation with performance gains across the board, and nothing for you to do.
Bug Fixes
-
Encrypted documents and images were getting stuck on a loading spinner in the player instead of opening. They now decrypt and display as expected, with a clear message on the rare occasion decryption can't complete.
-
When a video started playing, the first chapter wasn't highlighted in the chapter list. It's now selected from the moment playback begins.
-
Ingesting a folder from Microsoft Teams was picking up only audio and video and leaving documents behind. Documents now come across alongside everything else.
-
SCORM lessons brought in through the bulk upload wizard were greeting the player with a 404 instead of a lesson. They load and play correctly now.
-
Renaming a group left the old name lingering on a user's profile until a full refresh. The new name shows up right away now.
-
The chatbot could get caught in a loop on certain conversations instead of replying. It now responds and moves on as expected.
-
A purge policy was quietly leaving the last stragglers behind the first time it ran, so a handful of items that should have been cleared hung around until the next pass. It now sweeps up everything in one go.
-
Global search now keeps sub-portal content within its own portal, so publicly viewable items stay out of the main portal's results.
-
Signing in through SSO could hit a dead end on the final handoff, turning users away with a cryptic error. The sign-in now completes cleanly.
-
Transcription could fail outright when your regional settings weren't set to US English. It now runs no matter the locale.
-
The processing-unit summary was showing numbers that didn't quite match the unit beside them. The figures line up now.
